Frequently asked questions
How Nisi's works for foodservice operators — ordering, handling, shelf life and specs. Can't see your question? Ask us directly.
Where can I buy Nisi's Craft Bakery bread?
Nisi's supplies foodservice operators — restaurants, hotels, resorts, breweries, arenas and fine dining — through foodservice distributors, not direct to consumers. We're carried by most major distributors including Sysco, US Foods, BiRite, PFG, Chef's Warehouse, Greco & Sons, Greenleaf, Vesta and Alpine. Use the distributor finder to see who carries us near you.
Do I bake the products, or are they ready to serve?
Most are ready to serve. Of our 76 active products, 67 arrive fully baked and frozen — thaw and serve, no oven required. The 9 soft pretzels are the exception: thaw, mist with water, sprinkle with salt and bake in a convection oven at 425°F for 5–7 minutes until golden brown. Every product's exact handling is on its spec sheet.
How long do the products keep?
Three months in the freezer in the original packaging, or thawed and held at room temperature for three days. One product carries a 12-month freezer life; check its spec sheet for the exact figure.
Is there a minimum order?
No. There is no minimum and no commitment — you order through your distributor in whatever quantity suits you. Tell us what you need on the quote form and we'll connect you with the right distributor and pricing within one business day.
Can I get samples before committing?
Yes. Operators evaluating the range can request samples or a quote. There's no obligation.
What makes the bread different?
It is built on a 100-year-old Gold Rush sourdough mother dough and fermented slowly for 24–36 hours, which develops the crust and the open interior structure. We use non-GMO flour and all-natural ingredients, with real butter, cage-free eggs and milk in the enriched doughs. Everything is baked in Napa, California.
Do you offer vegan products?
Yes — six vegan products across our Vegan Brioche Buns and Vegan Potato Buns ranges. You can filter for them on the products page.
Where do I find case dimensions, pallet configuration and allergens?
Every product has a spec sheet with case dimensions, case and pallet configuration, net weights, pieces per case, ingredients, allergens and handling. Browse, download or email them from the spec sheet library.
What kinds of products do you make?
Burger and slider buns, hot dog buns, soft pretzels, sandwich rolls and deli rolls, sliced sandwich breads, baguettes and table breads, stone oven batards and dinner rolls — 76 active products in all. See the full range on the products page.
